About SPI
The Service Preparatory Institute (SPI) is a premier institute established by the Government of Maharashtra in Aurangabad.
It aims to prepare young boys of Maharashtra for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and subsequently serve the nation as officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
SPI provides quality academic coaching, physical training, and personality development to help cadets succeed in competitive exams and SSB interviews.

Eligibility Criteria
- Only boys domiciled in Maharashtra are eligible
- Age: As per NDA entrance exam norms
- Educational Qualification: 10th pass (Admission after Class 10)
- Written entrance exam conducted by SPI
- Medical fitness and interview required
Exam Pattern
- Written test conducted by SPI (Maths, English, General Knowledge)
- Subjects tested as per NDA syllabus
- Followed by Interview & Medical examination
Training at SPI
- Duration: 2 years (Class 11 & 12 level training)
- Academics: Preparation for HSC Board + NDA exam syllabus
